Gender Clinics for Children and Teens

Dana-Dwek Children’s Hospital at Sorasky Medical Center (Ichilov):

An endocrinology clinic for children and teens on the trans spectrum with a wide range of staff to care for trans children and teens and their families. The staff includes pediatric endocrinologists, nurses, dietitians, social workers, and psychologists.
The team works in full coordination as part of comprehensive treatment with the aim of completely addressing the patient and their family’s needs for optimal outcomes. Additionally, the team works in collaboration with other medical professionals at the medical center (fertility institute, women’s health, plastic surgery, etc.) as well as with community mental health professionals with experience in the field.
Hormonal therapy for teens on the trans spectrum requires parental permission.

Endocrine Clinic for Children on the Trans Spectrum at Sheba-Tel Hashomer Hospital

The clinic operates as a collaboration between the pediatric endocrinology clinic and pediatric psychiatry clinic, and the fertility preservation center at Sheba Women’s Center. The staff operates from a place of understanding the complexity and sensitivity of the youth that arrive at the clinic. Here, children and teens on the trans spectrum receive supportive and sensitive care and have guidance throughout their emotional and medical process.

Services for People on the Trans Spectrum in Prostitution by Levinsky Clinic

Levinsky Clinic is a clinic that offers many services such as free and anonymous testing for STIs and HIV, as well as phone assistance regarding these subjects, help fulfilling rights, guidance, and psychosocial care. The service is accommodated to LGBTQ+.
Levinsky Clinic offers designated care to prostitution populations, on two main levels: outreach and psychosocial care.
The mobile clinic connects with the prostitution population in their own spaces, offers medical care and testing, as well as connecting with follow-up psychosocial care at the clinic. As part of the psychosocial care Levinsky Clinic offers holistic care with assistance in all areas of life by the staff of social workers and doctors. The clinic also has educational programs to raise awareness of physical and emotional sex protection, and a psychosocial assistance program designated for trans people in prostitution.
