There are several long and short-term guidance programs to assist people on the trans spectrum to fulfill their rights and provide guidance, assistance, and answers to questions. Note that the programs and therapists listed here are not equipped for emergency response. For information about emergency assistance.

Services for the Trans Spectrum
Social Guidance Framework by Maavarim
The framework is operated and staffed by Trans Social Worker: a professional team of social workers specializing in working with people on the trans spectrum. The framework is operated as part of the Over the Rainbow program, under supervision and with the support of the Ministry of Labor and Welfare.
The framework includes initial assistance for any questions regarding the trans spectrum such as short-term support, assistance and fulfilling social and medical rights, guidance, and professional instruction.

Psychosocial and Mentoring Framework at the Trans Center
The Trans Center includes the support of a psychiatrist, psychologist, social workers, and mentors.
At the Trans Center, you can receive personal guidance from a trans mentor, that will be customized to the needs and goals that you wish to accomplish. The personal guidance is provided from a place of knowledge and life experience of people on the trans spectrum that you can talk to on the same level, explore, consider choices, and ask questions in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
Additionally, the staff at the Trans Center can assist with fulfilling the rights that you deserve as people on the trans spectrum. The framework offers assistance in various fields, such as filing claims with Bituach Leumi, recommendation letters for starting gender-affirming medical care, and more.
The Trans Center believes in up-to-date, reliable information accessibility regarding a wide range of subjects relevant to people on the trans spectrum, such as gender-affirming procedures, protocols and bureaucracy regarding people on the trans spectrum, services and designated assistance for the trans community, and more.

Tel Aviv LGBTQ Center Clinic
Tel Aviv LGBTQ Center Clinic
The clinic provides a variety of therapeutic services for people on the trans spectrum with clinicians who have relevant training. Appointments are held at two places in Tel Aviv.
Treatment cost: 300 NIS for individual appointments, and 350 NIS for family appointments. Discounts are available (price updated as of May 1, 2024).

LGBT Association’s Psychosocial Services
The LGBT clinic is the association’s treatment and counseling center, with expertise in assisting the LGBT community and the unique challenges that arise (such as – coming out of the closet, self-esteem and body image, relationships and LGBT parenting, guidance through gender affirmation processes, assistance during crises, loss, and more).
The clinic offers a wide range of services including individual therapy, couples’ therapy, family therapy, a range of support groups, and therapeutic groups.
The LGBT clinic operates treatment and counseling centers around the country. In each of the centers, there are professional staff with clinical qualifications and expertise in the LGBT community.
In certain cases, treatment will be provided for free by social workers. In cases treated by other professionals – 300 NIS for individual appointments, and 350 NIS for family appointments.

Jerusalem Open House
The Open House offers psychosocial services on two levels, paid psychotherapy and free social services.
The Open House is located in downtown Jerusalem at 1 Shmuel Hanagid Street.

Psychological Services at Jerusalem Open House
The clinic offers psychotherapy for community members and their families (ages 18+) at a discounted price.
The therapy method is dynamic, the therapists are all qualified and experienced, with at least a graduate degree, and come from various backgrounds – social work, psychology, and arts therapies.
The therapists have knowledge and experience in the areas of sexual orientation and gender identity, but you can speak to them about other subjects as well.
The treatment does not have a time limit and takes place at the Open House clinic downtown or at the practitioner’s private clinic. The service is provided at a discounted price of 250 NIS per appointment. There may be subsidization options available for a limited period for those with financial struggles.
Social Services at Jerusalem Open House (Free)
This service offers the option of meeting with a social worker at the Open House for psychosocial care, help fulfilling rights, and mental health guidance. The service is provided for free in conjunction with the municipal youth care unit and the LGBT Association. The social workers have knowledge and experience in the areas of sexual orientation and gender identity, but you can speak to them about other subjects as well. The service includes:
- LGBT social worker – the Open House offers psychosocial services for teens and young adults aged 15-26, in conjunction with the municipal youth care unit.
- Family social worker – services for LGBT couples and families, in conjunction with the LGBT Association.
- LGBT seniors social worker – services for people aged 50+ in conjunction with the municipal senior citizen care unit.
- Social work students – provide social care and short-term emotional care, available for all ages as well as non-Jerusalem residents.
Ilan Youth Care Station (Jerusalem)
A mental health clinic for children and their parents.

Psychosocial Services at the Beer Sheva Pride House
Shilo Finer, a trans social worker provides care for adults and children from the age of 13. The treatment is free and designated for Beer Sheva residents only. Shilo can refer to other services, such as IGY or other social workers, if she cannot provide care herself.

Psychosocial Services at Haifa Communities’ House
Haifa Communities’ House psychosocial services is accommodated to the LGBT community and provides various services:
- Mental healthcare and help fulfilling rights for Haifa residents for free by a welfare social worker at Communities’ House.
- Mental healthcare and help fulfilling rights for free by social work graduate students at Communities’ House.
- Mental healthcare and help fulfilling rights by certified clinicians at a discounted rate. Treatment starts at 250 NIS.
