Nonprofits and organizations for the trans community

The organization Meavarim Lakeshet Trans works to empower the trans community through knowledge and resources. The organization provides critical information to people on the trans spectrum, their families, and the professionals who support them, and makes knowledge about the trans spectrum accessible to care, education, health, and policymakers. The organization works to advance the trans spectrum by bringing voices from the community to decision-makers.

Transiot Israel works to promote the rights of the transgender community and focuses on trans women as well as assisting and realizing the rights of trans women from the end population. The Trans House, located in south Tel Aviv, was established by the Transiot Israel Association and serves as a space for trans women.

Gila Trans Empowerment Project grew out of and for the trans community in 2011. We are an activist group working to change the reality of life for members of the transgender community. We emphasize personal empowerment, community building, rights claims, and access to resources and opportunities.

Alliance of Lionesses is an organization of families for transgender and gender-diverse girls, children and youth. The organization’s goal is to inculcate support and support for transgender children among families, institutional frameworks, and Israeli society as a whole, and thus to ensure their welfare.
